 Youth my friend

It was just yesterday

When youth was my friend

We ran together with blinded love

Selfishly never looking back

But loneliness crept up behind us

Casting a dark and heavy shadow on youth and me

 

She’s hastened by fear

Insecurity and rejection

She is so ever clever

Waiting behind the shadows

Ready to over power

We were in despair

 

Thought we had to part for ever..!

Then reason came along

With Sympathy and kindness

Don’t worry, don’t despair...!

Youth your friend will never leave you

Will never go away

 

Hold her dear with in your heart

Let her whisper through your smile

And loneliness will never stay

For more than just a day...!

Some Poems and little songs

Journey of love
You inspire me to be
The best that I can be
I felt the love bursting in my heart
When I held you in my arms so tight
 No one will ever know
I lounged for you ever so
In every child face I’d see
The secret sweetness taken from me
 As years go by I realized
Naiveté is youth induced
We seam to go for ever more
Life’s consequences much refuse
 My self esteem did suffer such
Keeping my choices scarce...
In spite of grace and gifts received
Indulgent pity served my deceive
 For many precious years
I suffered and grieved
The pain of Loneliness
Burning my eyes with tears
 I wore the mask of confidence
The cry for help concealed
I lay no blame I should have prayed
Ask forgiveness have faith believe
 Instead of that
I thought to ask
Please, please dear Lord...!
Don’t let me feel...!
 I am with you he said... I didn’t hear
Love is the answer... tis all you need
Quietly I held you in my arms that day
I felt great happiness my fears disappear
 Your tender look angelic smile
Restored my spirit opened my eyes
My aching heart relieved has found
The love of God in all abound.

Moments of your life

Little moments in your life

You can change

 To make the day

 

When your heart

Is torn apart

 You feel lost gone astray

 

Just those moments in your day

Nothing seams to help you say

Keep the faith He’s always there

 

Listens quietly to our prayers

Lifts us up and carries us through

He’s our friend forever true

 

He knows when the time has come

Our poor broken hearts He’ll mend

Love‘s the link love’s the bond

 

Bless those moments of your day

They set the path for grace to stay

 Greatest price was never paid

 

Life’s no doubt for ever made

Of those little moments of your day

Just... those little, great moments, of your day...!
